FAQs

Q: Do I need to insure my belongings in storage?
A: Yes. AA Self Storage does not insure personal belongings. Contact your home owner insurance for coverage. Another option is to contact an insurer that deals with stored belongings. TenantOne customer storage insurance is highly recommended. You can contact TenantOne at www.tenantone.com

Q: Does climate control prevent humidity damage?
A: Each climate control building has a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC). The HVAC de-humidifies the air in a space, reducing the chance of mold and mildew.

Q: How long is the lease?
A: It is a month to month lease. The lease will renew the following month on the same date a customer rents the unit. For example; A customer rents a unit on January 16th. If the customer would like to keep it for another month, then on Febuary 16th the lease will “roll over.” This will also be the date the rent is due.

Q: Is a deposit needed?
A: No deposit is required.
Wilmington requires a $10.00 Administrative Fee
Jacksonville requires a $5.00 Administrative Fee
Raleigh, Henderson and Oxford do not require an Administrative Fee.

Q: Does AA sell boxes and moving supplies?
A: Yes. AA has boxes of all sizes, along with other items to protect your belongings.

Q: How high are the ceilings?
A: On average, ceilings are 8 to 10 feet high.
