The professional management staff at AA Self Storage is available to answer your questions and help with your storage needs.

What are your office and access hours?

Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm; Saturday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm; Closed on Sundays.

Gate Access: Typically available 7 days a week (including holidays) from 6:30 am/7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Access hours may vary slightly by location.

Sizes can vary by location. As a rule of thumb, a 10×10 unit holds about three rooms’ worth of items. You can also check our storage facility size estimator for a full list of storage equivalencies.

Our facilities feature gated access, surveillance cameras, onsite management during business hours, and well-lit premises to ensure your belongings are protected.

You can rent via email, over the phone, or in person. To start the process online, call us to provide your contact information and email address. Reservations can also be made online.

A valid government-issued photo ID and a form of payment are required.

No, there are no deposits required at the time of rental. Just your first month’s rent.

We offer flexible month-to-month leases. Your lease is good for 30 days and renews on your anniversary date (e.g., if you rent on the 12th, your rent is due on the 12th of every month).

We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, checks, money orders, and online payments. You can pay in person, by mail, or online. Please do not drop cash in our drop box after hours.

It’s simple:

  • Now click the green “Pay Online” button.
  • The page will updated, and here you will either create an account if you haven’t already, or login to manage all units, pay manually, or set up Autopay.

What happens if I lose my keys?

If you lose your keys, you must show a photo ID and fill out a Lock Cut Request Form. A lock cut fee will apply, and you will need to purchase a new lock. Pro tip: We can keep a spare key in your file if you sign a Permission to Hold Keys Form.

Why can’t I get through the gate or access door?

Common reasons include attempting access outside of gate hours, an account being past due, or an incorrect passcode.

AA Self Storage is not responsible for the contents of your unit and strongly encourage you to insure your items. You may use your homeowner’s/renter’s policy or purchase coverage through a third-party provider at our facility’s office.

How do I move out?

Simply remove all items, including your lock (and return to the office if applicable), leave the unit in broom-swept condition, and notify the office that you have vacated. Check your lease for specifics.

How do I know which unit type is right for me?

The best unit for you depends on what you are storing and how you need to access it. Use the guide below to find your perfect match:

1. Climate-Controlled Units (some are drive-up, some are indoors)
Best for: Items sensitive to extreme heat, cold, or humidity.
Examples: Electronics, wood or leather furniture, musical instruments, antiques, clothing, and important documents.

The Benefit: These units are housed inside a finished building with regulated temperatures, providing the highest level of protection for your valuables.

2. Standard (mostly drive-up) Units
Best for: Sturdy household items and frequent loading/unloading.
Examples: bicycles, holiday decorations, and plastic storage bins.

The Benefit: Much like a home garage, these allow you to park your vehicle directly in front of the unit door for quick and easy access.

3. Portable Storage Units
Best for: On-site renovations or moving at your own pace.

The Benefit: We deliver the unit to your location. You pack it on your schedule, and we can either leave it on your property for easy access, move it to another location of your choosing, or move it to our secure facility for you.

4. Vehicle Storage
Best for: Freeing up space in your driveway or garage.
Examples: Extra cars, work trucks, or motorcycles.

The Benefit: Provides a dedicated, secure spot for your vehicle with 7-days-a- week gate access.

5. Boat & RV Storage Parking
Best for: Large recreational vehicles that require specialized space.

The Benefit: Our facilities offer spacious, dedicated parking designed to accommodate the size of large boats, campers, and RVs, keeping them out of your neighborhood or yard when not in use.
